*** Train to Teach in Yorkshire – York (Mon 23rd Nov 2020) ***

This Autumn the DfE are holding virtual events rather than physical events.

So to find out more about university and local schools-based teacher training in Yorkshire and to discuss your application to the Doncaster ITT Partnership, visit us at the DfE’s Train to Teach Events to help you to Teach Yorkshire!

We’ll be at:

  • The virtual event in York (details tbc) on Mon 23rd Nov 2020 between 4.30 – 7:30pm

Who are these events for?

These on-line events are designed for anyone who is interested in teaching – particularly those who are considering starting their teacher training in September 2021.

 What to expect:

If you attend an on-line event you’ll be able to:

  • discuss the different university & local schools-based teacher training options available, to help you decide which would best suit you;
  • ‘meet’ representatives from universities and our own & other local schools-based deliverers of teacher training in this area, and find out about courses and entry requirements;
  • receive advice on submitting a successful DfE Apply (or UCAS) application;
  • talk to practising teachers, including those who have changed career to teach, about what a career as a teacher is really like;
  • find out about bursaries, scholarships and funding available for teacher training.

To register for your FREE place, keep an eye out for updates on the DfE website for:

  • York – Mon 23rd Nov 2020 (4:30 – 7:30pm)*

*NB – this is not yet advertised on the DfE website

So Save the Date’ and we’ll look forward to ‘seeing’ you there – well ok not IN York, but on screen from the warmth of your home!

But if you can’t wait to see us at one of these events, then please see watch out for our on-line ‘Drop-in’ sessions and ‘come along’ to discuss your application for teacher training in Doncaster.

We look forward to meeting you at one of these these on-line events.
