We are still OPEN for applications
Schools might now be closed for pupils, however we will get your application out to our Partner schools for their consideration.
You can search for course training details on the Department for Education (DfE) ‘Find’ website, then apply on the new DfE ‘Apply‘ system or on UCAS (which is being phased out, but is still live) for places to start in September 2021.
Watch a quick presentation about the new DfE – Apply and why YOU should use it to Apply to us!
Applying for Secondary? – So what do I need to know?
If you have any queries about teacher training in Doncaster then please get in touch as we’d love to discuss your application to us for next year.
Good luck with your applications!
Schools ‘reopened’ to all pupils on 8th March 2021 and Lockdown restrictions have been eased.
Following continued advice from the Government regarding the Coronavirus (Covid-19) Pandemic, we are currently unable to plan in physical School Experience Days, ‘Drop-in’ sessions and Recruitment Events for the foreseeable future, but we holding virtual 1-2-1 on-line ‘drop-in’ sessions, so check out the dates and book a place.
This is due to ‘Social Distancing‘ rules and school restrictions on external visitors which will continue to apply for the foreseeable future, so you will still be unable to visit schools.
The DfE has moved it’s ‘Get into Teaching Events‘ on line, but hasn’t planned an event for Doncaster yet, but there have been events for Sheffield & York which we attended – see post for details for when/if Doncaster is planned in.
However, the ITT Partnership Team are available to respond to any of your queries regarding how to Get Into Teaching in Doncaster.
Please continue to follow Government & NHS advice on staying safe.

- Ranked higher than all but one University!;
- 3rd (by just 2%!) for trainee attainment in South Yorkshire overall;
- 2nd for Primary attainment in South Yorkshire;
- 2nd (by just 1%*) for Secondary attainment in South Yorkshire.
NB* – That’s just 1% behind a Russell Group University!
