Schools ‘reopened’ to all pupils on 8th March 2021 and Lockdown restrictions have continued to be eased.
However, following continued advice from the Government regarding the Coronavirus (Covid-19) Pandemic and with input from our schools, we are still currently unable to plan in physical School Experience Days, ‘Drop-in’ sessions and Recruitment Events for the foreseeable future, but we have been holding virtual 1-2-1 on-line ‘drop-in’ sessions. Unfortunately we are not planning any more of these for our Sep 2021 recruitment, so please contact us directly if you have any queries before applying.
This is due to on-going ‘Social Distancing‘ rules and school restrictions on external visitors which will continue to apply until at least 19th July 2021, so you will still be unable to visit schools.
The DfE moved it’s ‘Get into Teaching Events‘ on line and there were at local events for Doncaster, Sheffield & York which we attended .
The ITT Partnership Team are available to respond to any of your queries regarding how to Get Into Teaching in Doncaster.
Please continue to follow Government & NHS advice on staying safe.
Once we restart recruitment for 2022, please check here for the dates and book a place for one of our next events, once they are promoted.
UPDATED: 5th July 2021
The Department for Education’s (DfE) performance data for ITT Providers (July 2019) shows that the Doncaster ITT Partnership is:
- In the Top 10 Providers in the Yorkshire & Humber Region;
- Ranked higher than all but one University!;
- 3rd (by just 2%!) for trainee attainment in South Yorkshire overall;
- 2nd for Primary attainment in South Yorkshire;
- 2nd (by just 1%*) for Secondary attainment in South Yorkshire.
NB* – That’s just 1% behind a Russell Group University!
We’re proud to be doing so well, but we’re not complacent and we’re aiming to be No. 1 in South Yorkshire and to be in the Top 5 in Y&H
